About Katie

Hi!  My name is Katie.  I have an amazing husband, two adorable boys, and two giant dogs.  I started Mommy Needs A Hobby a few years ago when I decided that I needed something to do on the side....some me time.  I have the privilege of staying home with my boys.  I definitely don't get bored with my kids, but I do need a creative outlet and I have found it! 
When I started Mommy Needs A Hobby I was making ring slings for carrying babies and lots of jewelry.  Then I started crocheting baby hats.  I do mostly paper crafts, and have just recently added digital design for parties.  Party decorations are my favorite products to make!  I also train dogs. :) 

I like to learn new things and I enjoy going back to the jewelry, sewing, and crocheting, too. 


I recently joined forces with two crafty friends of mine to open 3CraftyMommas on Etsy!
