Baby Shower!!

Yay!!  I get to plan another baby shower for one of my sister-in-laws!!  She's having a girl and I'm doing a very colorful pastel theme with some birds, flowers, and cherry blossoms thrown in.

Invitation

Decorations: I made these like place cards that will go around the room on different tables.
Back of the cards.

To make the flowers, I used a book of paper flowers by K&C Company
and the Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge.

I'm making a topiary that isn't quite finished.  This is the top.  I used lots of hot glue!

Here is the middle of the topiary.  I like how it turned out,
but I wish I would have thought to cover the styrofoam ball in something
before starting so the little gaps would be prettier.

I left the onesie cutouts stuck to the Cricut mat so that I could stamp them more easily.
Colorful napkins.

Tiny flowers that I will add to the cupcakes.
I glued 56 of these, and 56 smaller flowers to make a two layer flower.

I cut them out on my wonderful Cricut machine.

I dotted the inside with a glitter pen.

Here is the finished topiary.  It's hard to have perspective on how it looks
since I've been staring at it for so long. :)  But I'm happy with it.

Cupcakes!  I wasn't sure about putting paper flowers on icing, but it worked nicely.

My "crunchy" friends and I have Mother Blessings for each other, and
one of the things we sometimes include is a candle for each guest to light when they
hear that Momma is in labor.  It's a sweet way to keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
I decided to include these for this shower, and I also did for the most recent sister-in-law's shower.

I made this fabric banner and cut out the sign with my Cricut.
